this is a great debut from essex 3 piece the 3am context. uncommitted to any genre, they use fx drenched guitars, a thick layer of fuzzy bass and a mixture of samples and electro beats. not to mention the crazy synth sounds and big vocal harmonies. bouncing between driving riffs, ambient dub and even electro, the 3am context are band to watch. looking forward to hearing more.

"the title track bears a resemblance to nwlm’s driving riffs and distorted sounds, but there’s more straightforward, melodic alt rock edge that sets the 3am context apart – especially on stand out track ‘when the light comes’ - giving them an identity all their own. out now on big meat"
