it doesnt seem like too long ago we were printing a review of this bands last album, and already they are back with another set of equally great tracks!from the opening seconds of first track the meat process youre given a pretty clear idea of what this band are about – chugging guitar riffs, throbbing bass lines coupled with slightly echoish vocals and occasional twinkly guitar parts giving the music an almost spacey, futuristic leaning (something thats perhaps hinted at on the cover art – what looks like a spiky alien form shooting lighting bolts at an altogether more organic, sprawling being residing above it). its a fusion of stoner and grunge rock that sounds fresh; you can actually imagine space invaders being the soundtrack to a post-apocalyptic video game… one that rocks hard. the amazing no ones different, current single dogzilla and infectious hide secrets will easily draw you in at first listen, but all twelve tracks here make up a fantastic whole that is crying out for more attention. buy the cd, see them live, make them your new favourite band.www.nursewholovedme.co.uk
